Do you often debate over scores in 1:1s or have reps asking why they received a particular grade? Scorecard Reasons enable admins to establish a grading rubric for each scorecard question. Scorecard Reasons can be created at the Scorecard Reasons level or at the individual scorecard level.

Scorecard Reasons Level
Navigate to the Scorecard Reason view within the Admin Portal. The first view houses all available Scorecard Reason schemes and the number of scorecards with this scheme.
Click into the Reasons name to access the scheme. A pop up will appear - this is where you can edit the name and adjust the reasons and requirements.
The Anatomy of Scorecard Scheme
Preset Score Reason Scheme Name: the name of the Reason Scheme
Score: based on the Scoring Scheme at the Scorecard level. In the below example, the Yes / No option reflects the Yes / No Scoring Scheme.
Reasons: comments box where you can explain the reason for the grade. There is no limit to the amount of Scorecard Reasons that can be added to a score. Click Add Another Reason or Add Reason to create another scorecard reason.
Require a reason: toggle ON to require scorecard reasons when a grade is selected. Toggle OFF to make it optional. Requiring a reason is the default setting.
Delete Preset Score Reason Scheme: click on this tab to delete the scorecard scheme.
Click Save to save your work. The scoring scheme will appear on the scorecard once it is specified at the scorecard view.
New Scorecard Scheme
Click New Scorecard Reason Scheme to create a new scheme.
Give the Scheme a name. There is a 25 character limit in naming the scheme.
Applicable Scorecard Scale. Options include 1 to 5, 1 to 3, Yes / No or Pass / Fail.
A 5-point scale would equate to the following:
1 - behavior not present, not attempted
2 - present, not that good
3 - present, but average
4 - present, is good
5 - perfect
In the below example, the 1 to 5 scale is selected. This scheme will only appear in the scorecard view for 1 to 5 scoring schemes.
Begin adding reasons. Click Add Another Reason or Add Reason to create another scorecard reason.
Using the above screenshot as an example, I've specified reasons for scores of N/A, 1, 2 and 3 on a 1 to 5 scale. This means that these reasons will only show up on specified questions (ie Question #1 and Question #2 on the below photo) if the grader gives a score of N/A, 1, 2 or 3 but NOT for 4 or 5.
Click Save to save your work. The scoring scheme will appear on the scorecard once it is specified at the scorecard view.
Adding New Scorecard Reason Scheme to Scorcard
The scorecard scheme must be added at the scorecard level to show up on the Call Card. Hover over to the Scorecard section within the Admin tab and select the Scorecard Profile then the individual scorecard.
The Reason Scheme can be adjusted for each individual question under Preset Reasons. Reason Schemes will appear in the drop-down only if they match the Scoring Scheme (ie they are both using 1 to 5 scheme).
Enable the Scheme for each scorecard question and click Save. Click Save again at the Scorecard Profile level to finalize your work.
The Reason Scheme will automatically appear when the requirements are met from the grader.
Individual Scorecard Level
Reason Schemes can also be enabled at the Scorecard level. Hover over to the Scorecard section within the Admin tab and select the Scorecard Profile then the individual scorecard.
Click the drop-down menu under Preset Reasons and click <Create New>.
A pop up will appear to create the Scorecard scheme. The Applicable Scorecard Scale will not appear at the individual scorecard level since it already matches the Scoring Scheme on the scorecard.
Click Save once the Reasons and Requirements have been established.
The new scheme must be added to each individual question. Click Save at both the Scorecard and the Scorecard Profile level to save your work.
