By default your ExecVision instance comes pre-populated with standard keywords based on the Universal Sales Dictionary.
Admins can enhance their ExecVision experience by customizing their keywords within the admin portal. Keywords are customized by department and can house up to 50 words in the drop-down menu.
Click into the keyword name within Settings > Build > Topic/Keywords to edit existing keywords. To add net new keywords to a specific department, click Create New Keyword Profile.
Creating New Keyword Profiles
Name the keyword profile and list the words or phrases you would like listed under Keyword / Topic. The words must be inherent to the English language. Proper nouns like competitor names will only work if alternative words are specified under Words/Phrases/Alternatives.
Proper Noun example: Add "Facebook" as a word/phrase but define "face book" as an alternative. This will ensure that "Facebook" appears correctly in the drop-down menu without any variations.

Select Show if Zero if you want the word or phrase to appear in the dropdown even if the keyword yields zero results.
Words/Phrases/Alternatives is where you will add unlimited alternatives for words/phrases. Alternatives can be used for proper nouns, acronyms or for defining a word.
'Defining a word' example: Add "filler" as a word/phrase and then add alternatives, "um", "er", "uh", "ah" and "fair enough." Our software will then let you choose "Filler" from the menu and highlight all the instances of the specified alternatives.
Acronyms examples: Add "sdr" as a word/phrase and then add alternative, "Sales Development Rep." Our software will then note when "sales development rep" has been said on a call and attribute it to the keyword "sdr."
Toggle on Keywords / Topics should be in fixed order to specify the order of the keywords in the dropdown. This is to ensure that the order in the call card matches to what is seen in the admin portal. If this option is turned off, keywords will be sorted according to the number of times they occur in the call.
Click Save to finalize your keywords.
IMPORTANT: You must create a keyword profile before assigning keywords to a department. To assign a keyword profile, hover to the Administer - Departments tab and select the keywords profile from the drop-down menu.
