Highlights allow you to summarize important sections of a call with searchable terms. These terms can be shared via the Action Panel and searched under the Annotations drop down in Basic Search.
Open up the Call Card to access the Highlight function. There are two ways to leave Highlights on a call.
#1: Move the cursor to the spot of the Highlight and click Highlight in the Action Panel.
A pop-up will appear, allowing you to give the Highlight a name and associated color. Select green if the section is good and red if the section needs improvement. Click the blue check box to save the Highlight.
This method of leaving a Highlight has a pre-defined length and is dropped wherever the playback line is situated. Drag the edge of the Highlight to adjust the length.
#2: Move your mouse to your personal bowling lane. Click into the lane and drag the Highlight, letting go when the Highlight length is set.
The same pop-up from the first method of leaving a Highlight will appear, allowing you to give the Highlight a name and associated color. Click the blue check box to save the Highlight.
Deleting or Editing a personal Highlight is the same for both methods. Click the Highlight once and select the grey trashcan to delete the Highlight or click the blue check mark to save edits.
Multiple Highlights can be added and layered as desired, there is no character limit. To see the name of all Highlights, select View Highlights.
@Tagging / Mentioned
Typing in the "@" symbol will generate a user selector pop up. Similar to Slack, you can mention people in highlights and they will receive a notification to their Inbox > Mentioned section.
Admins and Managers - Deleting Other Users' Highlights
Users with Admin and Manager permissions can delete other users' Highlights. This feature is not available to users with User permissions.
To delete someone else's Highlight, double click on the Highlight and click the grey trash can. You can't make adjustments to the user's Highlight title.
